The project


The GreenTour project stands out as an extremely important need to promote social inclusion and better access for people with disabilities to the existing possibilities of green tourism and to promote environmental sustainability in the tourism industry.


Family and Couple Therapy Association Timisoara

The association ATFCT aims at training and supervision professionals working in the field of psychology, pedagogy, medicine, social assistance, education, including also students of these areas. Family and Couple Therapy Association Timisoara – ATFCT also considers the provision of assistance – psychological, psychotherapeutic, pedagogical, medical, social, and educational – to people in difficulty, individuals as well as groups, and to offer expertise in various fields ofpsychology, pedagogy, social work, medicine, justice (offenders) psychotherapy and complementary therapies.

Experts of the ATFCT organise training sessions, workshops, conferences, and seminars on various topics of interest, both for professionals (counsellors, psychologists, etc.) and students, as well as the general public.

The number of trainees involved in training process (a 4 years process) is at the moment 120. ATFCT is certified as a training institute by the Romanian authority (CPR – Colegiul Psihologilor din Romania), being also recognized as a training institute in Europe wide (EFTA – European Family Therapy Association).

The specialised interventions carried out by the experts – psychologists, psychotherapists, pedagogues, and trainers – are tailor made for domains such as individual, family, and couple difficulties, as well as systemic interventions in conflict situations and specific crisis situations: offenders, marginalized persons, vulnerable persons, youth at risk, persons with disability and their families etc.The association offers specialised intervention for disadvantaged categories. The staff includes also psychologists with a long experience regarding clinical psychology, psychotherapy and complementary therapy.

The Association is involved through its specialists in a large area of collaborations with Tibiscus University, Faculty of Psychology, where the staff of the Association is also employed.

ATFCT is experienced in developing and implementing EU projects. Their experts developed and implemented projects related with the field of justice, such as ESF projects, DAPHNE, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus+.

ATFCT experts developed programs and tools for different vulnerable categories: women in prison (Counselling program for couple and family for imprisoned women), youth in prison (Study of best practices in EU related with the youth imprisoned, Training curriculum for staff working in prison) youth at risk. In the same time, ATFCT organized courses for youth and adults in order to develop their personal, relational and social skills.Moreover, ATFCT experts delivered workshops for staff working in the field of youth and adults in risk situations (including disabled persons) development and organized International Conferences, involving participants from different EU countries (SICAP conferences, Alina Zamosteanu being the president of this series of conference in the last 10 years).

ATFCT developed a series of programs and materials regarding wellbeing of disabled persons such as programs for sexual education for disabled persons, families with disabled members, and staff working with disabled persons.

Centre for Competence Development Cyprus

CENTRE FOR COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT CYPRUS (COMCY) is a non for profit Training, Research and Development Organization, active in the field of project management, training & consulting.

We, at COMCY, focus on the training and development of various target groups and sectors of the society, through the participation in EU programs and initiatives as well as at the implementation of training seminars in Cyprus and abroad. Towards the achievement of these we transfer, as well as deliver, good practices from Cyprus and other EU countries.

What We Do, Expertise
The main aspects of experience and expertise of COMCY are:

Previous experience in training and development activities,
Expertise in the areas required and level of competence on it,
Access to the direct and indirect target groups (research, development, dissemination, exploitation of results):- Experience in training and development activities towards to the projects’ end users; ensure that COMCY is aware of the high quality standards expected and the particular characteristics and benefits that can be obtained through the project implementation.
The expertise and level of competencies required for the successful completion of the project tasks. This includes knowledge for the topics covered. We are active in each project area, as well as cooperates with various organizations such as universities, research and training institutions and others. Moreover, We have the necessary resources to disseminate each project results among, at National and European level. The organization actively participates in international projects and schemes, through a well-established network of partners abroad. We are in position to undertake any needed responsibility and tasks during project implementation, to evaluate the quality of the results as well as to exploit them efficiently towards the end users to whom are addressed.

This gives the opportunity to the Organization to develop, evaluate and fine-tune the project products through a direct access to the end-users as well as stakeholders (schools, HEIs, public authorities, training agencies, not-for-profit organizations, businesses etc) throughout the project implementation.

Foundation AVA

Foundation AVA Creations is a Bulgarian NGO working actively in the field of European cooperation in education and training, including vocational training. It was established in 2016 with the main aim to support the development of businesses and communities through encouragement of innovation, creativity and vocational training.

Currently, one of the main priorities of the foundation is to put forward and implement project initiatives on local, national and EU level aiming at influencing the process of personal development and life-long learning. AVA strives to foster innovative approaches in all sectors through partners networking, sharing experience and engagement of all stakeholders. Among AVA’s objectives are to encourage social, economic, cultural and educational co-operation on local, and national level. As well as to support common initiatives for improvement of the quality of life through education, transfer of knowledge, cultural exchange and social integration. In order to accomplish the above mentioned objectives AVA experts work closely with multiple national and international partners including educational institutions, municipalities, NGOs and other legal and physical entities active in the field of VET. AVA experts participate constantly in different national and international meetings, conferences, courses and seminars on the topic of VET development and enhancement, intercultural relations and communications, cultural co-operation and lifelong learning opportunities.

Thanks to its experts, AVA has good contacts with a variety of foreign partners, incl. educational institutions and universities, R&D centers, VET providers, NGOs, etc.

University of Salamanca

The University of Salamanca was founded in 1219 by Alfonso IX and became, along with Paris, Oxford and Bologna, one of the first European universities and today it is the only Spanish university that has maintained its activity throughout the centuries. The University of Salamanca has an important material heritage in the form of historic buildings and emblematic spaces that are still in use today.

Nowadays, the University of Salamanca continues to maintain its great attraction capacity and has a stable student body of around 30,000 students. It has nine campuses with 26 faculties and colleges and 12 research centres covering areas as varied as biosciences and lasers, as well as agri-food developments, neurosciences, history studies and basic research, among others.

These are joined by centres dedicated to strengthening academic and cultural links with other countries and cultures, such as the Spanish-Japanese Cultural Centre, the Centre for Brazilian Studies and the Institute for Latin American Studies. Another of the University’s distinctive features is the teaching of Spanish, which attracts thousands of foreign students in the different educational programmes developed in one of the largest training centres for foreigners of worldwide prestige, the International Courses of the University of Salamanca.

The science and technology developed at the University of Salamanca have been at the centre of some of the most important advances in recent centuries.
In more recent times, the University has hosted great thinkers and statesmen such as Miguel de Unamuno, Enrique Iglesias, Jacques Delors or Adolfo Suárez who have contributed to the construction of the international order.

The Senate of Doctors includes heads of state of several Latin American countries such as Fernando E. Cardoso, Oscar Arias, Ricardo Lagos, Luiz I. Lula da Silva and Tavaré Tavaré. Lula da Silva and Tavaré Vázquez Rosas; Nobel Prize winners such as Mario Vargas Llosa, José Saramago, Paul Nurse and Severo Ochoa; thinkers and researchers who have marked the course of their disciplines by driving the progress of knowledge. The humanism, intelligence and talent cultivated over eight centuries have made the University of Salamanca a leading institution in the world.

Cyprus Agrotourism Company 

Cyprus Agrotourism Company is a private non-profitable company established by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in Cyprus in 1996. Its members are owners of traditional houses and boutique hotels and other rural businesses or individuals or associations or cooperatives who offer tourists services/experiences in the villages of Cyprus. Today the company has more than 125 members in more than 60 villages offering quality services in the field of rural tourism.

Cyprus Agrotourism Company offers a variety of services to its members and partners in the private and public sector in regard with the promotion and the development of rural tourism/ agrotourism in Cyprus. Some of the aims of the Company are the preservation of the traditional character of the rural villages, the hospitality and the promotion of the traditional cuisine and agricultural products, the promotion of agrotourism in Cyprus and abroad.

Social Promotion Association Petit Pas Aps

The social promotion association Petit Pas Aps was founded in Trani, Puglia (IT) in 2015, by a group of professionals, trainers and youth leaders motivated by the desire to improve their community, promoting social initiatives inspired by democracy, equality and pluralism. Over the years, it has become a structured associative reality, with a large number of associates and volunteers who have embraced its mission recognizing the importance of having inclusive, peaceful and just societies. Petit Pas aims to improve the level of knowledge and skills of our community, regardless of gender, social, cultural or educational background. It aims to equip the local and surrounding community with the appropriate knowledge and skills that will enable them to access the job market and increase their chances of advancement in the labor market.

Through its workshops and seminars, it collaborates with and supports retirees to act as mentors for young people. It has carried out projects with young disabled people, giving them the opportunity to work as volunteers in our organization covering functions that could enhance their strengths. To achieve these objectives, it is in contact with important universities, schools and associations.

The staff of Petit Pas Aps has many years of work experience, business experience and professional contacts with private and public organizations. The skills and knowledge acquired by its staff thanks to the participation of the Petit Pas association in Erasmus + projects, in intercultural dialogue experiences, as well as in training courses and social volunteering, have also meant that the territory and the organizations active in the social field, came into contact with new realities and with different ways of conceiving Europe.

Operation

For the GreenTour project the education models and materials provided are of vital importance in the field of disability-specific tourism. The aim is to provide tools for tourism service providers to be able to compete in an innovative way, as the existing measures are insufficient at the moment.

Through participation in the project, GreenTour stakeholders will have access to useful information and tools to make their business environmentally and disability friendly.
